Description

Welcome to the Ghost Forge and the Ghost Carbon 3K arrows!

TTT Archery is excited to bring our own line of arrows and components to the market.  After 25 years of traditional archery, I decided it was time to build the perfect arrow that could do everything I wanted as a traditional archer, and this is it!  – Trevor Fielder

Critical Info:

  • Sold in packs of 12. Factory matched dozens. These are not cheap, unsorted arrows that get pulled from a bin.
  • .204 diameter – the perfect and most versatile size for a traditional carbon arrow.  It allows max penetration on game, and low wind drift for hunters and target archers.
  • 34″ carbon to carbon.  If you add a nock and an outsert they are 35″!!!
  • .001 straightness when trimmed to 32″ or less, or .003 straightness at full length
  • +/- 2.5 grain across a dozen for weight untrimmed.  Tolerances tighten as you trim them down.  Average dozen at 30″ is within 1 grain.
  • 3K carbon outer weave, with top grade Mitsubishi carbon core.  The industry leading combination for TOUGH ARROWS
  • Factory matched inserts and outserts manufactured specifically for these shafts. While you can use any .204 components, Ghost Forge components will fit best.
  • Component support for Inserts, Outserts, Nocks, and Pin Bushings!  No more buying arrows that don’t even offer replacement nocks!
  • Nock fit for the Ghost Forge “GF” factory nock is most similar to an X nock which produces the most optimal outer serving diameter for clean release.
  • Custom designed Inserts with 20% more holding power over smooth inserts.

Suggested Spine for your draw weight:

Note – This chart is based on averages across the industry for an average draw length of 27-29″, using average tip weights of 100-150 grain.  If you have a longer or shorter draw, or you are shooting a bow whose performance is at the upper or lower end of the range, or you are using double silencers or no silencers on the string, please consider making the necessary adjustments up or down a spine class.  There are many variables that affect the spine an archer needs, this is simply a chart to get you in the ballpark for testing.

If you are on the fence about these arrows, I would like to tell you a brief story of our testing.  In testing on a 3D course, I watched a shooter launch a full length 400 Spine arrow with his 32″ draw using a 48lb Toelke Whistler at a metal target at 15-18 yards.  The point mushroomed a bit, but the shaft was unscathed. He was using a GF Nock, GF, Stainless steel point, and GF aluminum outserts.  We were on a fairly tough course that day and this particular arrow had already been through 2-3 saplings 1-2″ in diameter, split them in half and kept trucking. He finished the entire course using that one single arrow and it was at this point i decided it was time to share these arrows with the rest of our Trad Family.  – Trevor Fielder
